Do you offer framing services? Pointe Of View does not offer framing services. For most original paintings, the artwork is sold with a frame that is carefully chosen by the artist to complement the piece. While the frame enhances the overall presentation, the main focus is on the artwork itself. In essence, you are buying the artwork and the frame is simply part of presentation.
Can I return or exchange my painting? All purchases of original artwork, including commissions, are final sale. If your artwork arrives damaged please contact Pointe Of View and we will work out a solution tailored to your situation. If the frame is damaged we will replace it with the same or a similar frame to ensure your artwork is presented as originally intended.
Shipping Practices
To ensure your artwork arrives safely, Pointe Of View will coordinate with you to select the appropriate option concerning shipping. Shipping costs for original paintings vary based on the size of the artwork. Due to the high cost of shipping materials and the effort involved, we appreciate your understanding and timely payment. All original paintings are shipped via UPS Ground*, with freight shipping costs ranging from $300-$800.
Each painting is meticulously packed to ensure its safety during transit. Here's how we prepare your artwork:
Protection: We use flat pieces of cardboard or foam, custom-fit to the size of the painting, to shield the front and the back
Wrapping: The painting is then wrapped in bubble wrap to provide cushioning
Boxing: The wrapped painting is placed in a sturdy box, with additional padding to fill any gaps
*Note: For extra-large paintings, we use crated freight shipment, which incurs higher shipping costs. These costs will be billed separately.
